I saw that you worked with Brian. He was on a trip there for the 75 anniversary in 2017 with our group and asked us to allow him to get the best advantage for filming( seat location in van etc). He had promised us a copy of his work in exchange. Got back to the states and tried to contact him multiple times but he never got back to us. We initially were worried about him, but came to the realization that he just kind of flaked out. Sad, we thought better of him.

Does the boat service provide life jackets...and how many times the skipper experience to travel in any weather situation.

I am from the Solomon Islands and I am deeply ashamed of this situation, as it highlights greed (as rightfully stated), and total disregard from the Authorities in terms of policing sea transports. This would probably be a criminal case if reported to the police upon your arrival in Honiara. Anyways, I'm glad there's no fatalities.

Should be 3 boats carrying at least 6 to 7 people in each boats when travelling that distance. 20 passengers together in one boat was just too much....surely anything can happen

What lenses did you use for the wedding? Looking for sharp rendering glass that enhances the detail look, hopefully without the annoying chromatic aberration look seen in bmpcc og footage, and budget friendly. Is a speed booster worth a buy? This video has a great example of "clean" looking wedding footage that rivals more recent cameras without degrading to a "film look"...

This is really fascinating. My grandfather was a medic with the 43rd during WWII. In one sense, I cannot imagine the things he must’ve seen - the horror and terror of it all. In another sense, I can see why he was assigned to the medical battalion and why he was such a kind, patient, loving man in the rest of his life. It’s amazing that he could’ve endured these conditions and come back sound, stable, and gentle, but he did. Perhaps that was simply his nature all along, perhaps going to war and seeing the things he saw only increased a natural tendency he had toward compassion. I’m so proud to know who he was after the war - it only makes his service that much more incredible to me - that he made it back without becoming jaded or cynical. It’s miraculous, really.

Should be open tourism, free to all armed force family members. I say let people pay a fee to scour for artifacts they can keep. Find an old gun, bayonet, its yours. Find a skull, well, might cost you alittle more. I know Pres Trump wont let this potential for big income go to waste.

Great upload, I’m Australian we owe the local Solomon Islanders and Papuans a lot. They were essential in both U.S. and Australian WW2 victories in both countries, helping the wounded, trekking supplies and providing intel as well as taking up arms against the Japanese who were hated by the locals as much as our boys.

I just bought BMPCC OG for really cheap ($300 + 3 batteries) and can't wait to start shooting with this little beast. I also bought old soviet lens Helios 44-2 and adapter for it. I always want this camera since almost 11 years ago whet Blackmagic release it, and today I already have it!

Fantastic sample footage, looks good and really shows what the filters look like. The 2-5 is so perfect for day to day while the 6-9 is much too strong as a normal dehancer-style effect. Argh.

Munda to Emperess Augusta I think, a raid on Dublon Island. the plane was shot up, later covered by RNZAF fighters, as the B-24 somehow werent firing back, Travis was the co-pilot, the plane then lost it's other engine(s) and crashed (maybe somewhat sort of idk if it is) near a small island out in the sea away from Munda and not terribly far from Chuuk, all the crew was, first MIA and later KIA, his name is engraved on a wall of the missing under M in manila Phillippenes war cemetary

my 2nd gt uncle Travis Moore was stationed at Munda at a B-24 airbase, he died durring a mission 2 april 1944 a raid on Truk, after the bombing his plane mustve been shot up and later crashed in the water on the way back to base 394 BS 5 GP H Jesus is coming soon😊 I hope all the crew are home! he never made it back to his earthly abode in Chattanooga TN where my Grandfather's Moore's were from after Alabama, after their Grandfather's? Family moved there. God bless you all
